How do I know if my certification is still valid?
You can see your active certifications any time on the Team menu:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online Accountant.
- Go to the Team menu.
- Select the Training tab.
This shows all of your certifications and whether they're still valid. It also shows your team's certifications. If one anyone needs to renew, the status will be Inactive.
Do I need to pass the QuickBooks Online recertification exam before I attempt the Advanced recertification exam?
QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification Discontinuation FAQ
Effective December 31, 2018, we will be discontinuing the QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification training modules and exam.
ProAdvisors who successfully pass the QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification exam on or before December 31, 2018 will maintain their certification status for three (3) years, starting on January 1, 2019, without any additional actions required.
No new QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certifications will be granted after this date.
