Show only active rows and columns on reports in QuickBooks Online
by Intuit•10• Updated 1 month ago
To keep things less cluttered when you're looking at your reports, you can hide rows and columns with no activity or a total amount of zero. This ability is only available for some reports.
Note: |  This does not apply to payroll reports. |
Some of your reports will look different depending on whether they're in the classic view or ![]() |
To show only active rows and columns:
- In the report, select General options.
- Select the Number format â–Ľ dropdown, then select the Don't show zero amounts checkbox.
- Select which rows or columns to show:
- Active: Hide empty rows and columns.
- All: Show all rows or columns.
- Non-zero: Hide rows and columns with a total of zero.
Note: The report refreshes when a different option is selected. You can also select Refresh report.
