EEA bank connectivity updates
by Intuit• Updated 4 months ago
What's happening?
As of 2024, Intuit France SAS will cease providing connectivity between QuickBooks and your banks. Moving forward, bank connectivity in QuickBooks across the European Economic Area (EEA), will be offered by Intuit Ireland Software Limited.
How does this impact me?
From the first week of January 2024, connections to French bank accounts will be deactivated. From this point onwards, customers will have read-only access to their bank feeds. We’ll let you know at least 30 days in advance if your bank will be impacted.
Note: This does not apply to Crédit Agricole connections. For those with such connections, the section below related to the other EEA bank connections shall apply.
For customers with other existing EEA bank connections
From April 2024 onwards, some customers may begin to experience bank error 390. This means that the connection for that particular bank has been migrated to our regulated entity Intuit Ireland Software Limited* and requires re-connecting.
Follow the steps below to re-connect your bank account:
- Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions (Take me there).
- Select the blue tile for the bank account you need to reconnect.
- Select the Sign in link.
- Enter the user ID and password you use to sign in to your bank's website.
- Select the accounts you want QuickBooks to download transactions from. Then select Continue.
- When you're ready, select Update to get the latest transactions from your bank.
Note: Before disconnecting your account, be sure to make a note of any uncategorised transactions to avoid duplicates upon reconnection.
Some customers may not be able to reconnect to their bank for up to 6 weeks. While we work on getting this resolved, follow the steps to manually import your bank transactions to QuickBooks Online.
