Learn how to see the results of customer post-invoice surveys in your email and QuickBooks Online.

QuickBooks Online offer a post-invoice survey that collects customer feedback. After customers fill out the survey, the responses are emailed to you and stored in product for your review.

Here’s how to see the post-invoice survey results.

Prerequisites

Before you can see customer survey responses, turn on customer feedback surveys in your Account and settings.

See your survey results in your email

No matter what your customer says, you'll be notified of their response by email, such as whether they want to work with you again, how they rated your service, and any testimonial or referral they provided.

Links within these emails will take you to the Customers & leads dashboard (Take me there).

View your survey results

To view your customers’ survey results, select Customers & leads, then Overview (Take me there).
Note: You can now view survey responses from specific customers directly on their Profile page.

You'll see the following widgets.

The Work Requests widget shows the customers that have said they’d like to work with you again, and the recorded time frame.

  1. To see their work request details, select View request.
  2. From the request, you can send an email or create an invoice or quote.
    • If you select Send an email, a pre-populated email appears.
    • If you select Create a quote, the quote page appears.

To see a customer’s detailed feedback, select View response. To reply to a customer’s feedback, select Send a thank you note or Send an email. Then review or edit the pre-populated email.

In this widget, you’ll see potential customers forwarded to you by existing customers as part of a survey. To see the details of a referral, select View. From here, you can reach out to a customer by email, or add them to your listed customers in QuickBooks Online.

To reach a customer, select Send an email and review or edit the pre-populated email, then send it.
