Create and publish your Advisor profile

Learn how to create your Advisor profile in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

Create and publish your Advisor profile to put it on the find an Advisor website. Highlight your experience, skills, specialisations, and QuickBooks certifications to connect with the right clients.

If you haven't yet, create a QuickBooks Online Accountant firm. This lets you review your client’s books, edit their transactions, and fix their issues. You’re also eligible for Advisor Program benefits, training, and certification.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online Accountant.
  2. Select the Profile icon.
  3. Select Go to ProAdvisor profile.
  4. Fill-up your profile.

Edit your profile

  1. Select Edit ✎.
    Note: If it's your first time, select Get started.
  2. Edit your info.
  3. Select Save.

Note: Select Preview to see how your profile will look like on the find an Advisor website.

Note: Before you can publish your profile, we need to verify your eligibility and identity. We'll publish your profile within 2 business days after we confirm your info. If not confirmed, we might email you to request notarised business documentation, like a business licence or articles of incorporation.

  1. Select the Profile icon.
  2. Select Go to ProAdvisor profile.
  3. Select the Publish profile A traffic light with a picture of a person with a cap on. switch.
  4. Fill out the requested info.
  5. Upload a copy of your valid government-issued ID.

Once we confirm your info, we'll publish your profile on the find an Advisor website.

QuickBooks Online Accountant
