About QB Community
Thank you for providing complete details of your concern, @rajesh_agarwalProAdv.
Let me share with you some information about adding clients to your QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA).
Currently, setting up different home currency in QuickBooks is unavailable. In regards to your INR home currency, let's make sure that your multi-currency is turned off. This way, you're able to modify it with the most accurate address.
Here's how to check:
- Go to the Gear icon on the upper right side.
- Choose Company settings.
- Click the Advanced button.
- Review the Multicurrency section if it's turn on.
- Tap Done.
For more details, check out this article: Can I change my home currency?
To fix this, I'd agree with your alternative workaround which is to create a dummy account with a USA address. This way, you can use the correct home currency and add the two clients. Once done, here's how to add clients:
- Go to the Clients menu, then select Add client.
- Pick Business or Individual.
- Enter your client's info.
- Choose Subscription in the Products section.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
You may refer to these articles below. Add clients to QuickBooks Online Accountant.
After that, you can now utilize the multi-currency and class tracking feature. This is a more specific way of tracking your sales, purchases, and profitability by business location. For more details, check out these articles below.
