Hi there, William.

 

Validation codes are created using your QuickBooks license number. However, the Community doesn't have a way of taking a look at your account to be able to verify your license number.

 

I recommend calling our Customer Service Department. They need to ask for your account information for them to generate a code for you. Here's how: 

 

  1. Click the Help menu and select QuickBooks Help.
  2. Click Contact Us in the bottom section of the page.
  3. Provide a short description of your concern and click Continue.
  4. Click Start messaging or Get a callback

Just in case you can't see the contact option within QuickBooks, follow these steps to get their contact details:

 

  1. Go to this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_GB/contact.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Click Manage subscription, then click Manage your account.
  4. Click Get Phone Number.
