Account Management

This was available BEFORE QB updated to the 'new experience'.  I have 2 companies that have the 'new' experience - both with the problem, and 1 that is still on the previous version which still shows addresses in the correct UK format.  I spent over 1 hour screen-sharing all 3 accounts last week and was eventually told, after a discussion with the tech dept, that showing a 2 letter code instead of a county was correct.....   and couldn't be changed back.  Even switching the 2 companies back to the previous version does not work.  QB is giving us the US system, which does show the states as a 2 letter code - Michigan = MI.  Probably because they are owned by Intuit.

There are previous reports of the problem on here dating back to 2019, so seeing as this is a re-occurence QB or Intuit must know the solution.

I, for one, am no longer impressed with the way Intuit appear to be americanising QB and I certainly do not want to be sending out 'forms', which now look very unprofessional, with my incorrectly formatted address to my customers.

The Royal Mail website states that for mail to the UK (from the UK) the County is not required.  Even this is preferable to having 2 random letters on their own line which no-one apart from QB know what they mean.

I will certainly be looking at other options with a view to migrating if this is not rectified soon.

Have QB/Intuit found a fix yet?
