Thanks for reaching out to us for your concern. I can help check why your getting an update notices when opening QuickBooks.
QuickBooks should be automatically downloading the update when it is released since you configure the program to this feature. Now, you have one option to check why you're still prompt to update.
This can be a one time messages and may be disabled through Preferences.
Here's how:
- Go to the Edit tab.
- Select Preferences.
- In the General tab, click My Preferences.
- See if the Bring back all one time messages feature is enabled. If so, you may unchecked the box and see if you'll still encounter the same thing.
