I appreciate you reaching out to us, tkphi.

Let me share some insights about the multi-factor verification.

The Multi-factor is a security enhancement on top of the usual password requirement. You can receive the security code via your email or through your mobile device. Whereas the two-step verification will only give you the option for voice call and text in receiving the code.

Now to disable the multi-factor verification code, we’ll need to enable the two-steps verification code. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to your Intuit Account icon at the top right, then select the Manage your Intuit Account link
  2. Select Sign-in & security.
  3. In the Two-step verification section, select Turn on.
  4. Choose how you would like to be contacted, Text message, or Voice call.
    • A text message is a standard six-digit verification text code.
    • Voice Call is an automated voice verification code in English only.
  5. Click Turn on.
  6. Enter the verification code, then select Continue.

You can visit our managing your Intuit Account page for more information.
