Account management
Hello there, @Allllan.
I'm here to share some insights about the cancellation message pop-up you've received while canceling your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription so you can manage your data accordingly.
Yes, I can confirm that the message is true. Historically, if a subscription was canceled, customers like you would have view-only access to your data for 12 months (365 days). However, going forward with our new update, all customers who cancel a paid subscription (not trials) will have perpetual view-only access to their data and be able to re-subscribe at any point.
Moreover, we're unable to confirm that you have another active subscription if you're using a different email address. It'll only be possible when you're utilizing the same one for your other account.
In case you've used a different email address for your active QBO subscription, the data of the cancelled one will be deleted completely after a year.
You can learn more about what will the subscription cancellation means for your QBO data by checking out this article: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?.
Since you have another QBO account and are about to launch a new one, you may want to check out one of our Help pages as your reference in managing your data and business transactions using QBO: QuickBooks Learn and Support. It also includes QuickBooks help articles, Community discussions with other users, and video tutorials, to name a few.
