Account management
I appreciate you for coming back to the thread and adding additional questions about your concern, JK Bookkeeping. I'll ensure you can change the two-factor in the right place by following the steps below.
Managing user access and organizing two steps verification have their own separate platforms. There are several features and functions that work differently and are meant to work independently. With this, the section to change the two-factor isn't from the Manage user page, instead, you can sign in o your Intuit account and update the details from there.
Here's how:
- From the left menu, choose Sign In & Security.
- Under the Phone section, tap the Verify link. Then, hit Change.
- Enter your new phone number, and then click Save.
Additionally, please know that the verification code is normally sent to your recent mobile phone number either through text message or voice call.
Also, with the above steps you're able to turn off the Two-step verification by switching to Turn off. To learn more about the verification process, check out this guide: Verify your account with multi-factor authentication.
Lastly, you can refer to this article to see details on how you can manage user roles and limit their access to specific tasks in QBO: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online.
Keep me posted if you still have questions or concerns about managing QuickBooks access or verification in QBO. I'm always around to assist you. Take care and have a lovely day ahead, JK Bookkeeping.
