Account management
It would be nice if as company that you start being honest and straight with customers. You are removing the original posts because they provided incorrect information (by both moderators and Intuit employees) that if you have the bundle you can keep using Commerce after August 2023. Phone and chat responses that were provided by Intuit reps. were poorly worded further adding to the confusion. This unfortunately is a perfect example of failed leadership all the way up to CEO Goodarzi.
The company line of "strategic" decision is quite laughable. As a company Intuit has bumble every single step with its acquisition of TradeGecko. Why would you spend as company over $80 million dollars of shareholders money to acquire a software company to then just dissolve it? Quite an expensive purchase just to force users to sign up for an accounting service. What a shame for all of those TradeGecko employees in Singapore who lost their jobs from this Intuit acquisition which was ultimately for absolutely nothing.
Why would you put customers through the headache of exporting out their data last year (2022), to have just limited data (no historical sales or purchase order) reimported by the customer so that Commerce could be a tab inside of Quickbooks Online, to then once again tell customers that they will need to export out their data this year (2023) because Commerce will no longer be available after August? From my perspective this looks like Intuit just got in over its head.
Did Intuit even try to find a buyer for the TradeGecko software that they clearly have no clue on how to utilize it to its fullest potential (to at least try to recuperate some of shareholder funds)? How a CEO can lose over $80 million dollars for the company he works for and still have his job is beyond me but that basically sums up Intuit under CEO Goodarzi "leadership".
So Intuit is now offering an "e-commerce" accounting aspect for sales orders which does nothing for customers like myself who rely on this service to do Purchase Orders, manage Stock Levels to different marketplaces? This "strategic" move could have been done minus the purchase of TradeGecko.
A response to my questions would be greatly appreciated that is the least you could do for customers.
