Account management
Thanks for bringing this up in the Community, @Security-User. We appreciate the details you've provided.
Currently, the audit log feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't display the source IP address of a user log and the specific reports a user viewed or downloaded. It only records user sign-ins, changes to QB settings, edits to customers, vendors, employees, and payroll submissions.
The information documented in the audit log includes:
- The date of any change to your books
- The name of the user who made the change
- The type of change or event
- The name of any customer or vendor related to the change
- Any original transaction date and amount
For reference, visit this article: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.
We recognize the importance of this feature in ensuring the safety of your account. To improve your experience with QBO, you can share your valuable feedback. This will go directly to our product development team for review and consideration.
Here's how to send it:
- Navigate to the Gear icon and choose Feedback.
- Enter your comments or suggestions.
- Click Next to submit.
In case you want to limit your users' access to specific tasks and data, check out this article for more guidance: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online.
You can always get back to this thread if you have other QBO-related concerns. It's our pleasure to help you out. Take care and have a good one!
