Account management

Hello @B_R_Wells_2024 , depending on if all of the transactions under the Job are supposed to be for your parent customer there is an easy fix for this.  If so, I'd recommend a new backup first (just for safety precautions).  Then, in your Customer Job List, I would rename the Job to something specific.  Then you can 'drag' the Job out from under the Parent Customer and make this a Parent in itself.  Afterwards, you can edit the Job name and make it the same as the Parent Customer, when you click OK to save this it will prompt you to Merge the two together.  That will make all of the transactions under the Job now show in the Parent Customer and the Job will no longer exist.

If you prefer to restore the backup file, you will need to open the DMG file for the backup.  Once that DMG image is mounted, you can drag your company file out to where you would like to store it.  Then from within QuickBooks Mac you can go to File > Open Company and navigate to the location where you copied the new file to.

I hope this helps.
