The American Express account is one of the banks for which the open banking feature is not yet available. The bank feeds for AMEX and other financial institutions were turned off in compliance with the open banking regulations. Our engineers were working with financial institutions to provide open banking connections for as many banking products as possible. Rest assured this will become available in the future.
As of now, I encourage continuing to upload your transactions to QuickBooks using an Excel CSV file. For your reference, check out this article.
