I appreciate you reaching out to the Community. Let me provide you with some insights about the QuickBooks Online desktop app. 

 

QuickBooks Online desktop app is only available for QuickBooks Online Advanced and Accountant. To do so, you can upgrade your QBO plan to the Advanced plan. 

 

Here's how you can upgrade your plan:

 

  1. Go to Settings , then select Subscriptions and billing.
  2. Select Accountant-billed subscriptions.
  3. Scroll down and look for your client.
  4. From there, you can see your current subscription.
  5. Click Upgrade your plan.
  6. Select the Choose plan in the Advanced section.

 

If your subscription is already in Advanced, I suggest you to contact our QuickBooks Online Support. They have the tools to check your account securely to perform a screen-sharing session to find its root cause.
