Let me help you pull up your payroll run into the correct bank account.
We should first change the bank account with the payroll service before changing it to your preferences.
Here's how:
- From the Settings, select Payroll Settings.
- Click Bank Accounts, then Edit.
- Tap Update.
- Choose the Add new bank account.
- Search your bank name. You may be asked to enter your online banking user ID and password. Otherwise, select Enter bank info manually. Enter your routing and account number, then select Save.
- Click Accept and Submit.
Ideally, if you follow this setup QuickBooks will automatically update where you get the money. You can read this article for detailed steps: Change your payroll bank account.
Since this isn't the case, I recommend contacting QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll support so they can help you utilize the correct bank account.
