Green Dot Bank support after they mistakenly deactivated my Debit Card.

Anyone from QuickBooks.  Why are you still using this bank as a partner.


Let me go over my issues with them i have had to see if anyone has had similar issues.

 

2022 to 2023

 After a Pending transaction outage for months at a time, Green Dot misplaced about 2100 dollars in funds.  After working with them almost weekly.  After 2 months i was told my ticket was sent to the wrong department and it had been sitting in their ticket Q doing nothing.  All updates i received were either made up stories or false info.  After another month i finally got a 60 Dollar credit to my account.   But was put in contact with a person at Green dot that was in the states that actually wanted to help, and had power to do so.  After sending screenshots of my account proving what i had been saying.  The woman got to work and never called me back.. After a week, i had her name and department info, so i called Green Dot and she no longer worked with the company.  I then started all over and just gave up.  I filed a BBB complaint as well as a Reach out to the Attorney General with nothing back from either.

 

Today.

 I get a Fraud notification on my card and i answer not fraud. and the next message i get is that my card has been locked and to call customer support.  My first call I was told to wait 15 min.  Then i waited 30.  And then called again. and was told by them my card works.  I did a few transactions to show thats not true. They hung up.  10 min later called back and told me to wait 2 hours.  After waiting 3, nothing works.  Then i called again, asked for on shore support after 20 min got a person im guessing in the States, and the fixed it within 5 min by cycling the card on and off.   All of this while im out of town for my job and tied to this card for large purchases.

 

I like QB, but their partner is awful.  I hope this reaches someone that can help or at least someone that cares about customer service.  When i first got the Greendot account with QB i recommended to all of my friends and vendors to switch.  An now I'm considering going back to another payment and invoicing method.
