Banking

I'll provide steps to fix your bank feeds and ensure it will work again, Vicki. I appreciate you sharing your concern in detail.

There are times when a financial institution may undergo maintenance or experience server issues. To pinpoint the cause of the issue, check your bank's website to ensure everything is functioning on their end.

Additionally, certain errors prevent your financial data from syncing. If you happen to encounter one, I'll help you how to fix it.

First, make sure to:

To check if there are issues with your bank's servers, download your transactions in a test company file:

  1. In your QuickBooks Desktop, hover over the File menu.
  2. Select New Company. Choose Express Start or Start Setup.
  3. Set up Bank Feeds for the account you have a problem with. Download your transactions.

If you see the error, there could be a problem with your bank. Reach out to your financial institution, then give them a copy of your Bank Feeds logs

If you don't see the error, refer to this article to proceed: Fix OL and OLSU Bank Feeds errors in QuickBooks Desktop. You won't need to disconnect since you've done it already.

If you need to access your transactions immediately, you can consider manually uploading them, but this may result in duplicates once your connection is restored.
