Hello, Paul.
Yes, there is! I'd be glad to show you the process in starting all over again in QuickBooks.
Since this is just a recent subscription, you'll want to use the Purge feature. Here's how:
- Go to https://c21.qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage (or log in to your QuickBooks Online account).
- Replace homepage with purgecompany.
- This will direct you to the purge company utility page. Review the effects of purging the data.
- Once done, type YES at the bottom of the page.
You can check this article for the steps and reference (expand the If your books are less than 60 days old section): Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.
Aside from starting over, you can also delete those transactions and inactivate the accounts.
Since only three transactions were entered, you'll simply want to delete them. Open the transaction, click the More button then select Delete.
For the accounts in your Chart of Accounts, you'll want to inactivate them so they won't be used. Here's how:
- Go to the Chart of Accounts page.
- Find the account you want to inactivate.
- Click the arrow icon under the ACTION column.
- Select Make inactive.
Note: Doing this won't completely remove the account. This will just inactivate it but you won't be able to use it.
Before entering any transaction, I do recommend checking out our articles for guides and assistance. They'll help you familiarize the processes, the "do's and don't's" when dealing with transactions and data, and more.
I'm always here to offer help. You can count on me if you need assistance setting up your QuickBooks Online account.
