Thank you for joining the thread, @gulfsidebooks.I'd be happy to assist you with this.
In QuickBooks Online once you deleted an account the transactions will still remain. So I agree with you, when you want to remove those transactions you have to clear it manually.
Please keep in mind that deleting a transaction is irreversible.
Here's how:
- Go to the Banking menu and select banking.
- Select Go to register link.
- Locate the transactions you'll want to delete and double click.
- Click Delete.
- Then select Yes.
