Thanks for following this thread, @nate the great.

 

I understand you want to download the transactions from the second card. Since you're receiving one statement for both cards, you'll only connect the parent account as stated by my peer Rose-A in her post. 

 

Then, the other card will e set up as a sub-account. Here's how to add your second card as sub-account after connecting the parent account:

 

  1. In the Settings menu, select Chart of accounts.
  2. Click New. Depending on your account view, you’ll either see a panel labeled New account or New category
  3. Select the Save account under dropdown to choose an account type. 
  4. In the Tax form section dropdown, choose the detail type that best fits the transactions you want to track.
  5. Enter a name in the Account name field. If you choose a Bank, Asset, Credit card, Liabilities, or Equity account, make sure your account in QuickBooks matches your actual bank or credit card account. 
  6. In the Starting date and opening balance section, click the dropdown to choose a date to start tracking this account in QuickBooks, then enter an opening balance in the Account balance field.
  7. Select Save.
