What is striking to me is QuickBooks forcing people to migrate to online when the online product is defective. Importing IIF files is critical for my clients using my web application software. They can generate several IIF files each day copying financial data from my program to their desktop copy of QB for printing checks and bank reconciliation. I'm afraid I'm having to agree, it is about greed and laziness. They are full of arrogance and don't feel it important to provide a superior product anymore. It appears that my only solution is to change my web application to do the work of printing checks, reconciliations and occasional reports. Then my clients can say goodbye to QB. Such stupidity to ruin a company that could be good.
