Employees and Payroll
Hello there, @Anonymous.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), we're unable to enter a percentage rate on invoices. You'll need to manually calculate it to a flat rate and enter a negative sign so it will be deducted from the total amount. Here's how:
- Go to Invoices and Create Invoice.
- Select a Customer.
- Click Product/Service and select + Add New.
- Enter a Name. Select Flat Rate for the Amount type and enter the Amount with a negative (-) sign.
- Click Save.
- Fill in other fields as you see fit.
- Click Save.
Additionally, you can send copies of reports to your accountant so they'll have records of your transactions. Alternatively, you may invite them so they can access your company file and accounting information. Here's an article for your guide: Invite an accountant to review your books in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Furthermore, you can connect your bank or credit card accounts to QBSE to download and categorise your recent transactions automatically.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to us whenever you have other concerns about invoices. I'll be happy to assist you further. Take care.
