There's no option to stop the automated tax payments and filing for this current quarter, cameron. Let me share additional details about this option.
Since today is already part of the first quarter, QuickBooks Online (QBO) will still handle this quarter even if you turn off the Automate taxes and forms feature now. If you turn it off, you can only file and pay your taxes starting April 1.
Here's how you can turn this feature off:
- Go to the Settings ⚙ icon, then click Payroll Settings.
- Tap Edit ✎ in the Taxes and forms section
- Untick the Automate taxes and forms checkbox.
- Select how you plan to make your tax payments and filings, and click Save.
