Hi Sheena,
I'm unable to check from our system why we can't charge your card since this is a public forum. However, I know a different way to update your billing details.
To do this, you'll want to update your credit card information in the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs). Here are the steps:
- Sign in to camps.intuit.com. Or learn more about signing in.
- Find your app or subscription in the Products & Services list.
- Select Details.
- In the Billing Information section, find Payment Method, then select Edit.
- Update your information.
- Select Save and Close.
After updating your payment details, you can revalidate your service key. Just press Ctrl + K, select your payroll product in the table, click Next... Next, until you see the section with a Finish button. The system reloads, resyncing information from our server and your QuickBooks.

Looks like it was an Intuit processing problem. When I tried again today, all went through without a problem. Phew.
