Hello, the support does not know what to do. They screwed PFML tax setting for 2023 while trying to add 2024 rate. It caused improper payroll corrections. I have contacted support several times wasting my time explaining again and again about the issue. last week 1/10/24 I was able to reach higher tier of tech support; however they could not fix the issue, escalated to higher level, and promised to take care in 3 business day by 1/16/24. In meanwhile, I need to run weekly payroll, while QBO processed refund thru payroll corrections to all employees on last payroll, because PFML rate 2023 was improperly replaced by 2024 rate, that has less deduction than 2023.
I have to to run another payroll today and was hoping that QBO tech support eventually restore 2023 rate as was promised. I called tech support on 1/16/24, they were useless,stating that issue was escalated and they could not do anything. They advised to check program frequently to see if any fix is done. Today is 1/18/24 and we still at no fix.
Based on the above and my vast experience with QBO tech support, I can say that majority of tech support agents do not have sufficient knowledge of the software and accounting to do their job..It is practically impossible to reach higher tier of support that understand and can fix the issues.
