Since you've already completed all the troubleshooting steps, I recommend contacting our Desktop Payroll Support team to arrange a screen-sharing session. This will help us investigate the error you're encountering and understand why you can't send direct deposits to your employees.
To contact our support team, please follow these steps:
- Open QuickBooks.
- Navigate to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
- Click Contact Us.
- Give a brief description of your issue, then select Continue.
- Sign in to your Intuit account select Continue and then Continue with my account.
- Select to Chat with us or Have us call you.

Once your direct deposit has been sent, you can view and print a Payroll Confirmation Report to see a summary of payroll details for that specific pay period. Additionally, you can verify if your payroll has been transmitted successfully to find out its status in the process.
