I don't think he's talking about zoom (your suggestion would zoom in the whole window.) I know this post is a year old, but today I noticed also on the dashboard, the fonts are different styles altogether and smaller. See attached (I am currently working on an old and new account and noticed the difference).
It is much better in the below picture, and how it was. Amounts are larger (no need to make them smaller and bolder), Other titles are all caps, etc. Is it moving to this smaller bolder style? Ugh
