I'm here to help share information on how to export list from Quickbooks company to another.
Once you export list from QuickBooks it will create an .IIF file that will open on notepad or excel. You can follow the steps below:
- Go to File menu, then select Utilities
- Select Export, then Lists to IIF Files.
- Choose the list you want to export, then select OK.
- Browse the location where you want to save your file and select Save.
Once done you can Import the list to another company. Here's how:
- Log in to your company file as Administrator.
- Switch to single user mode.
- Go to File menu, then select Utilities.
- Select Import, then IIF Files.
- Import the Chart of Accounts.
- Then import the list inorder.
