Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the QuickBooks Community for support. 

 

I understand how frustrating it can be needing to sign in as the Admin user in both programs for the sync to work. However, this is the requirement for now. You can see more information about syncing between QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Time in the help article that I've included below.
