Let me share some information so you'd be able to seamlessly install and use QuickBooks in your device.
Just to clarify, what specific version of QuickBooks are you using? With the release of windows 10 operating system comes the release of the new version of Internet Explorer. If you're using QuickBooks 2010 version, this specific version is no longer a supported one. However, if you're using a QuickBooks Supported version let's make sure QuickBooks software is updated to the latest version so you have the latest features and fixes. This also helps the system recognize the transactions you've downloaded.
Here's how:
- Go to the Help menu, then select the Update QuickBooks Desktop...
- Go to the Update Now tab.
- Put a check-mark on the Reset Update checkbox.
- Hit Get Updates to start the download.
Once completed, make sure to restart QuickBooks to have the option to install the newly-downloaded release or patch.
Now, let's set you're Internet Explorer as your default browser. You can follow these steps:
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Go to the Gear icon in the upper right corner (or click Tools).
- Select Internet Options.
- Click the Programs tab.
- Under Default Web Browser tick the Make Default button.
