Installing QB Premier Plus 2024 on a new Windows 11 computer - help!!
I have a client who has a new PC laptop with Microsoft Windows 11 Home in S mode. I need to install Quickbooks Desktop Premier Plus 2024 on this computer. We managed to download the QB exe file from the intuit website, but every time I try to run this exe file, I get a warning that "the app you're trying to install isn't a Microsoft verified app" - and asks me to "Get Apps from Store" or to "Change my app recommendation settings".
What is a way around this? I did see that there's one "fix" to change Microsoft out of S mode and possibly down to Windows 10. Since it can't be switched back to Windows 11 I'd rather not go that route. It's just so frustrating. I did a search in this discussion page and it mentioned that Chrome is better (it's not installed - only the darn "Bing" browser). I just want to install this program and there's been many more hurdles than expected. HELP! Please!
Thank you!!!
