I acknowledge the impact of this error on your shipment processing, Rose. Let me guide you through some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue and get your business back on track.

 

As mentioned by @AlverMarkT, we have an ongoing investigation where users encountered an error when using the Shipping Manager (INV-73387). Alternatively, you'll have to register the Ship Rush ocx file again and rename the Shipping Manager folders to move past the error. I recommend working with an IT professional when performing these tasks.

 

Here's how to re- register Ship Rush ocx file:

 

  1. Click the Windows Start menu to select All Programs and  Accessories.
  2. Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
  3. In the command prompt window, type this command to change your working directory cd c:\Windows\syswow64, and press the  Enter button.
  4. Input the following command in your command prompt window and press Enter to register the ShipRush file:
    1. regsvr32.exe “c:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intuit\ShippingManager\ZRush_ShipRush9_QB.ocx”
  5. Click OK on the message that's displayed.
  6. Reboot the computer and set up the Shipping Manager again.

Rename the Shipping Manager folders:
 

  1. Browse to the following folders in Windows File Explorer:
    1. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intuit\ShippingManager
    2. C:\Users\[WindowsUserName]\AppData\Roaming\Intuit\ShippingManager
  2. Right-click the folder name, choose Rename, and add OLD to the end of the name (…ShippingManagerOLD).
  3. Repair and reinstall QuickBooks.
  4. Reboot the computer even if not prompted. 
  5. Set up the Shipping Manager again.
