By Journal Entry. Also guide which is the best practice and the detailed steps of the same. Or there is any other/3rd way for this?
As I am new here, please move my post to correct link/area/community if its wrongly posted here. Note that I am using QuickBooks online 30 days trial version with country as "International" (because the list of countries doesn't contain Pakistan)

Manage Suppliers and Expenses
Hello there, abr_ora,
Since the payroll function is unavailable in QuickBooks Online International, you can record it manually as a journal entry.
You'll learn on how to do it on this article: Recording payroll transactions manually. The scenario and detailed steps will help you understand the process.
You might also want to check with an accountant if you have a complex payroll setup.
I'll be here if you have more questions about QuickBooks.

Manage Suppliers and Expenses
Hello MaryLurleenM,
Thank you for your help!
Unfortunately the Journal Entry Solution does not allow to allocate these payments to specific empoyee... QBO allows to add SUPPLIERS only for some reason
Any idea how this can be done? To allocate these payments to a specific employee?
Thank you
Daria

Manage Suppliers and Expenses
Hello Daria,
The journal entry is only used to reflect your payroll expenses to your accounts. Though you can tag employees on them, these transactions will not post under their profiles. However, you will be able to monitor how your payroll expenses affect your business by running reports like Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet.
Please don't hesitate to post back if you have other questions about your manually entering payroll transactions.

Hello there, @usman86.
Welcome to the Community. Let me help you with your payroll concern in QuickBooks Online.
Currently, the payroll function is only available in some regions, like Australia, United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Right now, the international versions don't have a built-in payroll feature.
However, you can use the Journal entry feature to manually record payroll transactions. For the detailed steps, here's how:
- Click + New option in the upper-left corner.
- Select Journal Entry.
- Under Date, select the paycheque(s) date.
- (Optional) Input Entry # for journal entry.
- Debit and Credit accounts.
- Click Make Recurring.
- Enter a memorable Template Name and set Template Type to Unscheduled; click Save Template.
- Click Save.
If you're using the Plus version, you can use the Projects feature. To allocate the hourly information, you can either use a single or weekly time activity timesheet.
I want to help you with your concern about the worker pan. However, I need more information about it to provide an accurate resolution. You can add more details by posting your response down below.
I've also attached an article you can use to create manual tracking accounts for the journal entries in QuickBooks: Manually enter payroll paychecks in QuickBooks Online.
