Connect to BMO credit card (Canadian)
Hi, I am trying to connect my BMO credit card to my QBO. On the page to enter login and password, it is asking for Customer ID, User ID and password. What is the Customer ID?
I called BMO and they advised that the Customer ID is the QBO Customer ID, but that does not work.
Can someone advise where I can find the Customer ID?
Thank you!

To clarify, on the credentials page for BMO, the required fields are Customer ID, User ID and Password. See attached picture. The instructions in the link only talk about User ID and Password. What is the Customer ID?
Thank you

Hi AngBC,
Thanks for getting back to us here. The Customer ID is your associated bank card number, usually the same as your User ID, unless you've created a User Name. Complete the set up by entering your password and hit Continue. That should do it!

We've had the same issue for 2 weeks - here's what worked for us finally:
1. search for BMO in the search field at the top (don't just use the BMO option included in the default list).
2. Try ALL the different BMO log in options. Yes, even the ones that clearly don't apply to you. In our case we have a BMO Business Credit card only (no debit card, no 'Client ID', no personal accounts) The log in that finally worked was the 'BMO Personal' - makes no sense, but I don't care. It re-established the connection.
best of luck if you're also struggling with this mess.
