Based on what you've described, I recommend checking out the Transaction Detail by Account report. Once you've opened this report, you can filter it so you can view the bills. To do this, click on Customize > Add a checkmark beside Transaction Type, and search and add Bill > Scroll down and add a checkmark beside A/P Paid, and click Unpaid > from here you can run the report so you can view the info unpaid bills in QuickBooks.
