With this update, the majority of my T1 & T2 file shortcut icons on ALL YEARS show this "+" look attached too, even with "Show Captions" on. Please show us quick how to fix this.

Are these only our issues in Windows 10 Pro? Any suggestion to restore the icon look back?

This ProFile error will be resolved in ProFile version 2022.2.0 due for release mid December. The toolbar icons should not display as a +. There should be no change to icon display and function from previous year. We will resolve this issue soon.

Run a repair on ProFile. There are instructions here. This issue occurred in ProFile 2022.1.0 and has been resolved in ProFile 2022.2.0

Still the same meaningless shortcut icons shown for all my T1s & T2s. What is next?

Call us at 1-800- 452-9970.  An expert can look into this further. There is not a known issue for toolbars in ProFile 2022.2.0

I tried on both T1 & T2 files without success. The shortcut description shows correctly but with the same meaningless icon looks mentioned EXCEPT the "info", "T1" & "T3" ones. Strange!!

Also, how to NOT showing captions by default? I uncheck it before exit the program but it still shows captions when open the file each time.

I see the issue now. I have passed this to the product development team to investigate because unfortunately that is the design as of ProFile 2022.2.5. Using captions is the only way to make the icons useful at this time. 

Not sure of the issue but, the caption toggle works for me
