Hello there, Rutherford2.

Thanks for following the solution provided by my colleague and sharing the result. This will guide us on the next troubleshooting steps to perform, allowing you to access QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Since clearing the cache didn’t resolve the issue, let’s sign in to your account via incognito mode or private window. These browser sessions do not retain local files or cache, hence eliminating the potential of a webpage issue.

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome or Edge).
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox).
  • Press Command + Shift + N (Safari).

If the issue persists, use a supported browser and access QBO from there. If none of these suggestions work, I recommend contacting our QBO Care Team. They have tools to help check why you’re getting an error logging into your account. Then guide you through the process to resolve the issue.

  1. Go to the Help icon at the top to select the Contact Us link.
  2. Enter your concern in the field box. For example, error when accessing my online account.
  3. Click the Continue button to see the list of support options.
  4. From there, choose any of the following options: Chat or Callback.

For future reference, here’s an article that outlines the steps to enhance your experience when using the online program: Why is my QuickBooks Online slow? It includes a video tutorial for visual reference on the process.

We’ve collated resources to help our customers easily perform any tasks in QBO. It contains topics that will guide you on how to manage taxes, payroll, banking-related activities, sale and suppliers transactions: Self-help articles.

Feel free to visit the Community again if you have questions about signing in to QuickBooks. I’ll be glad to answer them for you. Have a good one.
