QB 2022 Won't Start

I am extremely angry with Intuit right now. I have been using QB for 17 years and now it looks like I will have to abandon it! My latest version is 2019 and it runs fine, but it will no longer support payroll unless you upgrade. So, I dutifully upgraded to their subscription model, which advertises that it comes with unlimited support by the way.

 

The software will NOT launch. No error messages it just starts buffering as if is going to start and then doesn't. Nothing I have or they have tried is working. The last tech support person just gave up! Here is what I have done to date...

 

1. Downloaded the Tool Hub and run all the various applications there. Nothing

2. Turned off my windows firewall and tried launching it. Nothing

3. Launch it as an admin. Nothing

4. Hold the CTRL key and launch it. Nothing

5. Completely uninstall it and reinstall it. Nothing

 

It tries to start and buffers and then just ends without starting. I have tried every single solution I can find online. I have spent hours on the phone with their reps and they can't solve it and just give up!

 

I am not sure what I am supposed to do here. It is their software. I am being forced to upgrade because payroll will no longer run on my version in about a month and version 2022 won't work at all!

 

Am I supposed to find a brand new accounting software?
