Hello, PM219.

I'll take this opportunity and help you fix the Price rules issue.

If the rules don't apply correctly, we can run the Verify/Rebuild Utility. This built-in tool automatically helps detect any issues in your company file and corrects them.

Beforehand, create a backup copy of your QuickBooks company file: Create Back up Copy.

To verify data:

  1.  Choose File then Utilities
  2.  Click on Verify Data.

If the tool detects an issue, rebuild the file by following these steps:

  1. From the File menu, choose Utilities and select Rebuild Data
  2. Click OK in the QuickBooks Information window and wait for the tool to repair your file.
  3. Hit OK once done.

For your reference, see the following link to learn more about this tool: Resolving Potential Data Issues.

You can also delete and recreate a rule to check if it is damaged or not. To do that, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Lists menu, select Price Rule List.
  2. Select the price rule you want to delete.
  3. Pick the Price Rule drop-down arrow and select Delete Price Rule.
  4. Hit OK when you get a confirmation prompt.
