Other questions
Thank you for the information.
I think I could/should have added some additional information with my initial question because I am wondering if it might adjust the reply.
We have multiple systems that will "know" when an order ships. My real question then becomes, can QBO use that information to reclassify the pre-order information if QBO is notified of the shipment?
We are using BigCommerce as our sales platform, ShipStation for shipping and SKUVault for inventory. All of these systems will know that an order has shipped and all of them can communicate directly with QBO. (My assumption would be that we would have ShipStation notify QBO of the order shipment provided that QBO can use that information.)
Do you know if QBO can use an order shipment notification from one of those systems to "move" the order dollars from the pre-order liability account to revenue and any prepaid tax to a tax liability account? If not and another app is needed, do you know of one that might be able to help?
We are not using QBO yet but would like for this to be our Financial/Accounting solution especially since it natively integrates with all of the other systems we are using that were listed above.
Thanks in advance.
