Good day, Arivaca.
The changes to the password for the Intuit account only applies to the online information that includes the billing and other subscription details.
You can use the Automated Password Reset Tool to remove the password for the company file. Here's how:
- Download the Automated password tool for QuickBooks Desktop.
- Select your version of QuickBooks Desktop.
- Type in all the required business information and click Next.
- Accept the license agreement. The Automated Password Reset tool will auto download. (If the auto download didn't work, select Download now.)
- Run the tool and enter the token number received via email.
- Follow the succeeding steps on how to create a new password.
You can also log back in to https://camps.intuit.com to make sure you're typing the same details with what we have on file. It's the same Intuit account or site where you previously changed the password.
Here's an article that will guide you through the steps on how to use it: Use the Automated Password Reset Tool for QuickBooks Desktop.
Let me know if you're able to change the password and log in successfully. You can also reply back to me if you have follow-up questions.
