I can see how convenient to have the ability to have the option to select accounts when creating budgets, leasul2003.

However, this functionality isn't available in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) at the moment. That said, I recommend sending your thoughts about having the feature to choose accounts to use when creating budgets for our developers. Ideas like this help identify the features our customers want the most for consideration in future enhancements. 

Here's how you can submit feedback:

1. Click the Help menu located at the top.
2. Select Send Feedback Online then click Product Suggestion.
3. Type in your feedback or feature request.
4. Click the Send Feedback button.

On the other hand, you can follow these steps to make necessary edits like changing the account's name from the Chart of Accounts:

1. Go to the Lists menu, then select Chart of Accounts.
2. Right-click on the account that you want to edit. Then, tap Edit Account.
   
3. Update the account details.
   
4. Select Save & Close.
