Invoice # sequency gets reset when creating invoice from third party app
My last invoice # is 1624. But when I create an invoice using third party apps such as Harvest - which integrates with Quickbooks, the invoice gets created successfully in Quickbooks but the invoice # is not 1 above 1624. It is instead invoice #1. It seems to restart the invoice numbering sequence whenever I create the invoice from a third party app. Is there any way to ensure this does not happen?

Thank you for sharing how the invoice number order is affected when transactions are exported from your app. Please know that we cannot control the order when there is data coming from a third-party app, so you may need to make some edits.
QuickBooks is designed to automatically assign the next number in the sequence. For example, if you use 123 on the current invoice, the next invoice will automatically be assigned 124, 125, and so on. You can change the number as you create more invoices, and the system will simply assign the next number in the sequence to the next invoice.
