It's nice to see you here in the Community, @ 9130356195985056. It's my pleasure to help you migrate your data from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
Since QuickBooks Desktop 2016 is not yet supported, you'll need to upgrade your company file to the latest version. With QBDT's 3-year life cycle of its company data, upgrading it will take time to avoid possible data issues.
Therefore, let's first download a trial version of QBDT 2019 and QBDT 2022 by using this link: QuickBooks Desktop Downloads and Updates.
Also, we're unable to migrate from QuickBooks Desktop US to QuickBooks Online UK since they have different tax forms. That said, you may utilize a third-party app that can integrate with QuickBooks to migrate your data. You can open this link for reference: App Center in QuickBooks Online.
Once done, you may open these articles that will walk through the process of setting up an account and transactions in QuickBooks Online UK:

Reach out to me if there's anything else you need. I'll be here to keep helping. Take good care.

Please could you be more specific about which app or program to use?
Thank you

Hi there,
While I’m unable to recommend you an app, you can look for a third-party service provider that can help you convert your data.
For more guidance in converting your data, here's a great resource that you can check out: Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.
Once done migrating, here's what you'll need to do to get going: What to do after you move from QuickBooks Desktop for Windows or Mac to QuickBooks Online.
Reach out to me in the comment section below if you have any additional questions. I'm always here to help. Have a wonderful day!
