Hi there, @userhcurts. I’m delighted to have you here and get you assistance concerning price changes on recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Currently, the option to automatically update the amount on your products and services in recurring invoices is unavailable. However, we can avoid creating a new template by implementing the price updates at once.
Before doing so, please know that it will affect your old transactions. To proceed, please refer to the steps below:
- Select the Gear icon and select Products and Services.
- Locate the item you want to make changes, and tap Edit.
- In the Sales price/rate section, change the price.
- At the bottom of the price/rate section, check the box, Update price in recurring template, too. If the option is unavailable, you’ll need to update the pricing directly on your template.
- Then, select Save and Close.
Additionally, you can review your recurring transactions and the accounts they are linked to to keep your records accurate.
