Hello there, YESS. Thanks for returning to this thread and adding a screenshot for additional reference.

The Group by Category feature is available for older or existing QuickBooks Online accounts. However, upon reviewing your screenshot, I noticed that you're using an updated version of QuickBooks Online. That's why you're not seeing that option. 

Alternatively, you can manually export the data to Excel and then manually filter the items by category. To export, simply click on the Export to Excel icon.

If you wish to have additional features in QBO, you also have the option to upgrade your plan to Plus if you're currently using Essential or Simple Start. If you're already using Plus, you can upgrade to Advanced.
