We simply need to stay up-to-date with the latest version and have access to tax info, tech support and what-not. We pretty much 'refresh' all of our major software about every 3 years. We're not happy about being forced into a subscription model though! The old standalone, 1-license for 3 years Desktop Pro version served our needs just fine. What on Earth made them change? When it ain't broke, don't fix it!
